TERMS OF USE

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms” or “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before using the website scoreyourseat.com, courses or extra help services (“Services”) operated by Women in the Boardroom® (“WIB®”,”us”, “we”, or “our”).
Your access to and use of the Services is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others, who either access or use the Services.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These terms shall not be altered or omitted should you disagree with any provisions. If you do not accept the entirety of these terms, then you may not access or use the Service.
Purchases of Any and All Scoring Your Board Seat Courses and/or Expert Help Services
By purchasing a course and/or expert help services, you agree and acknowledge that your purchase will be in-full, upfront for the cost of each of the Services purchased.
Cancellation Policy for Any and All Scoring Your Board Seat Courses and/or Expert Help Services
By purchasing a course and/or expert help services, you agree and acknowledge that your purchase is non-refundable and non-cancellable. We reserve the right to cancel a course under any circumstances, at any time. If you believe you have been erroneously charged, please contact us at: [email protected].
SCORING YOUR BOARD SEAT ACCOUNTS/ACCESS
Usage of log-ons for access and course materials are for the use of the purchaser only and cannot be shared with other users. Access to the free or paid content requires you to set up an account with a valid email address. You may not transfer your account to someone else or use someone else’s account. You may not share your account login credentials or purchased Services with anyone else. You can terminate your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
PRICING
The prices of content can vary.
We may occasionally run promotions and sales for our content during which certain content, courses or expert help services are available at promotional or WIB-member-only prices for a set period of time. The price applicable to the content will be the price at the time you complete your purchase of the content (at checkout). Any price offered for particular content may also be different when you are logged into your account from the price available to users who aren’t registered or logged in, because some of our promotions may be available only to new users, WIB members or partner organizations.
The listed currency you see is based on the price of Services in US Dollars. We do not enable users to see pricing in other currencies. The price you pay will be based on the currency conversion rate your payment processor uses as well as any of their currency conversion fees.
PAYMENTS
You agree to pay for content, courses, and expert help services that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment for those fees. WIB® works with payment service providers to offer you the most convenient payment methods in your country and to keep your payment information secure. We may update your payment methods using information provided by our payment service providers.
When you make a purchase, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. If your payment method fails and you still get access to the content you are enrolling in, you agree to pay us the corresponding fees within thirty (30) days of notification from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which we have not received adequate payment.
GIFTS AND PROMOTIONAL CODES
WIB® or our partners may offer gift and promotional codes from time to time. Certain codes may be redeemed for gift or promotional credits applied to your Scoring Your Board Seat account, which then may be used to purchase eligible content on our platform, subject to the terms included with your codes. Other codes may be directly redeemable for specific content. Gift and promotional credits can’t be used for purchases of WIB memberships unless specifically stated.
These codes and credits, as well as any promotional value linked to them, may expire if not used within the period specified. Gift and promotional codes may not be refunded for cash.
Recording Release Agreement
I (“User”) hereby authorize Women in the Boardroom® (“WIB®”) the irrevocable and unrestricted right to publish and to authorize other parties, including its assigns, successors in interest, employees, service providers, volunteers, agents, licensees and those acting with its permission or authority, to publish my name and my picture, appearance, likeness, performance and/or voice taken, created or recorded in photographs, videos, audio or other content by or on behalf of Women in the Boardroom® (the “Materials”) in connection with my participation in events hosted or otherwise conducted by Women in the Boardroom® (the “Events”), and I hereby grant Women in the Boardroom® an irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, perpetual, worldwide right and license to perform, publish, distribute, display and otherwise use the Materials in printed publications, videos, on Internet web sites and in any other media now known or hereafter developed. I acknowledge that my participation in the Events and my execution of this release is voluntary and that I will receive no financial compensation for executing this release or participating in the Events. I further acknowledge and agree that my participation in the Events and my execution of this release confers no rights of ownership in the Materials whatsoever to me, and I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the Materials. I acknowledge and agree that Women in the Boardroom® owns all right, title, and interest in and to the Materials, including the right to alter and create derivative works of the Materials without restriction and to register for copyright in the same in its name. I hereby waive any right to inspect or approve any finished product(s) incorporating all or any portion of any Materials. I release Women in the Boardroom® and its affiliates from liability for any claims by me in connection with my participation in the Events and/or the publication or dissemination of the Materials.
Rights to Content You Post
You agree to allow WIB® to share any content you post to Scoring Your Board Seat or testimonials you provide to us after taking the course(s) with anyone through any media, including via advertising on other websites or social media. Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding Scoring Your Board Seat or the Services is entirely voluntary and we will be free to use such feedback, comments, or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you.
WIB’s Rights
Women in the Boardroom® owns and reserves all rights to the content in Scoring Your Board Seat, including copy, logos, videos, templates, checklists, sample materials, etc. You can’t extract content and share with anyone privately or in the public domain without specific written authorization from Women in the Boardroom®.
Links to Other Web Sites
Our Services may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Women in the Boardroom®.
Women in the Boardroom® has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, terms and conditions, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Women in the Boardroom® shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such web sites or services, despite whether the web site or service was accessed via a link found on our Services.
No Warranty
UNLESS OTHERWISE AGREED TO IN WRITING BY WIB®, WIB® MAKES NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE GOODS, INCLUDING ANY (A) EXPRESS WARRANTY, (B) IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, INCLUDING IMPLIED BY LAW, COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, USAGE OF TRADE OR OTHERWISE. THE SALE OF GOODS IS ON A “AS IS/WHEREAS” BASIS.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL WIB® BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS, WHETHER OR NOT THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES HAS BEEN DISCLOSED IN ADVANCE BY USER OR COULD HAVE BEEN REASONABLY FORESEEN BY USER, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) UPON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED, AND NOTWITHSTANDING THE FAILURE OF ANY AGREED OR OTHER REMEDY OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL WIB’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT, WHETHER ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE TOTAL OF THE AMOUNTS PAID TO WITB FOR THE AFFECTED GOODS SOLD BY WIB® TO USER.
Waiver
No waiver by WIB® of any of the provisions of this Agreement (“Agreement”) is effective unless explicitly set forth in writing and signed by WIB®. No failure to exercise, or delay in exercising, any rights, remedy, power or privilege arising from this Agreement operates or may be construed as a waiver thereof. No single or partial exercise of any right, remedy, power or privilege hereunder precludes any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any other right, remedy, power or privilege.
Force Majeure
The WIB® shall not be liable or responsible to User, nor be deemed to have defaulted or breached this Agreement, for any failure or delay in fulfilling or performing any term of this Agreement when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by an event or circumstance that is beyond the reasonable control of WIB®, without WIB®’s fault or negligence, and which by its nature could not have been foreseen by WIB® including but not limited to, acts of God or the public enemy, government restrictions, floods, fire, earthquakes, war, terrorist acts, civil unrest, national emergency, labor disputes (whether or not relating to either party’s workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or telecommunication breakdown or power outage.
Assignment
WIB® shall have the right to assign any of its rights or delegate any of its obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of User.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
All matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Minnesota without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be instituted in the federal courts of the United States of America or the courts of the State of Minnesota, and each party irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of such courts.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our Services after changes become effective shall mean that you accept those changes. Any revised Terms shall supersede all previous Terms.

Women in the Boardroom Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from scoreyourboardseat.com (the “Site”). We at Women in the Boardroom® (“WIB®”, “we”, “us”) respect your privacy and want you to understand how we collect, use, and share data about you. This Privacy Policy covers our data collection practices and describes your rights to access, correct, or restrict our use of your personal data.
By using the Services, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. You shouldn’t use the Services if you don’t agree with this Privacy Policy or any other agreement that governs your use of the Services.
Personal Information We Collect
Women in the Boardroom's Digital Platform is hosted on the Kajabi platform and is subject to Kajabi's privacy policy, which can be reviewed here.
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we may collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
- “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, PayPal account information or other forms of payment and email address. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
How Do We Use Your Personal Information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
- Communicate with you;
- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services or those of our partners
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We may also use your Device Information for to target or retarget you for advertising.
Sharing Your Personal Information
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. Do Not Track
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
Your Rights
If you are an EU resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us through the contact information below.
Additionally, if you are an EU resident, we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of EU, including to Canada and the United States.
Data Retention
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
